Biography

Pedro Victor Lopes de Oliveira Ribeiro, known as Pedrão, is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is of Portuguese descent. He began his sports career in futsal at Fluminense, where he quickly made a name for himself as a goalkeeper. At the age of 15, he moved to Flamengo, where he further honed his skills and won several national and international titles.

With Flamengo’s Under-17 team, he became the champion of the Copa do Brasil and also won the Evergrande Cup in China, where he was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament, as well as the Adidas Dallas Cup in the United States. In 2019, he joined the Brazilian Under-20 championship-winning squad, alongside many players who now shine in top international leagues.

He moved to Portugal to play for Vilaverdense FC and, since the 2021/2022 season, has defended the colors of O Elvas CAD, with a brief spell at Sintrense. To date, he has won local titles and made several decisive saves, including saving numerous penalties in Cup matches.
